“There is no limit to what God can do with a heart that is completely yielded to Him!”
Ever since I read the story of Taya Smith now (Taya Gaukrodger) a small country girl who God has used to sing His name all over the earth; this thought has not left my heart.
Taya didn’t wake up and decide to become the lead singer in Hillsong’s ‘Oceans’; a song that topped the bill boards for months and won a Dove Awards. And most importantly, a song that has led millions unto countless hours of prayer and consecration before God. No!
She didn’t plan it. God did and she walked in it and till date she has led worship all over the world and blessed many lives.
She was just a small country girl (in her own words) who was passionate about worshiping God with all her heart. She only relocated to Sydney and decided to volunteer at the youth, young adult and creative ministries of Hillsong Church and through a series of events God put his seal on her voice for global impact.
The story is the same for many people you see and admire today. They didn’t conciously plan it, they only yielded themselves to God and He led them into His will.
In life, those who start out by planning to become famous get famous but soon, they are blown away by the clap and lights that come with it. But those who seek the glory of God and the praise of His name become a voice in their generation!
The world has taught us so much on succeeding and becoming all we want to be. This in itself is not entirely bad except that we have to answer the question: To what end? And for whose Glory?
Stop seeking to be successful so that you’ll become famous. Success is what inevitably happens to a man who is seeking God. It is not an end in itself! It is what God uses to grace the life of those who follow after Him. It is not a goal to be pursued and lived for, it is a gift of God.
Once again, there is no limit to what God can do with a life that is yielded to Him.
Whether he decides to make him an unmistakable voice life Taya Gaukrodger or he decides to keep him in a classroom to tend toddlers, tweens and teens. Let God choose for Himself for in either cases, they are equally successful!
Live your life for the sole purpose of seeking God’s Kingdom, His Righteousness and His Glory.
The best place to be in life is neither in the spotlight nor behind the scenes but in the very center of God’s will for your life. For there, you are not only relevant but successful where it matters the most!
Do have a blessed week!
I don’t need to plan for success because it has already be knitted into the fabric of my life by God.
Nice one Nasa
Oh yeah!!!
Thanks dear
